There was virtually no hope for Agapi. She was born as a street cat in Greece and knew only bitter suffering. Severely injured, she was handed in to a vet, but the vet did not have the confidence to perform the complicated operation on two serious fractures. After weeks of waiting, Agapi was finally allowed to leave the country and Gut Aiderbichl took her to Munich University Hospital. Would the old fractures still be operable? The head of the Surgical Veterinary Clinic at the University of Veterinary Medicine took care of little Agapi. And now comes the good news: shortly after the operation, Agapi was able to put weight on all her legs again. It was worth it. As it is always worthwhile to help a poor creature. Since then, Agapi has been living at Gut Aiderbichl Deggendorf in the care of our keepers.
