An animal lover contacted us in March 2019 with a request to take in her five Coburg fox sheep. She had once rescued the animals and placed them with a farmer. She was able to visit and care for her charges there every weekend. But when the farmer was diagnosed with an incurable disease, he had to give up looking after the animals. What to do with five extremely cuddly and beautiful sheep? The animal lover began to search for a new home. She kept getting the same answer: "The animals could go with us over the summer, but they would have to be gone by winter." Slaughter or euthanasia was absolutely out of the question for the animal lover. She tried everything, including the "private placement" section on our website. We were very impressed by the woman's commitment and our colleagues looked for a solution for Maleika, Joschi, Amigo, Jamuna and Tanja. They have now arrived at Gut Aiderbichl Deggendorf and are allowed to stay forever.
