A goat friend had rescued 8 goats from the slaughterhouse and placed them with a farmer. They were her pride and joy. When the farmer's billy goat escaped, he also came by the woman's goats. And then what you might expect happened: a few weeks later, four kids were born and other goats also appeared to be pregnant. This and much more was beyond the woman's budget. She no longer knew how to help herself and saw no other way out than to give up her goats. But where to? Who could love her charges as much as she did? Photographer Kerstin, who had already taken many animal photos for Gut Aiderbichl, pricked up her ears. She felt sorry for the animals, so she asked Managing Director Dieter Ehrengruber if Gut Aiderbichl could take in the goats. So Niki, Chimi, Churri, Resi, Miri, Tweety and Tweeny became Aiderbichlers and are under our lifelong protection.
