How intelligent are pigs? To find out, universities and other institutions around the world are researching the cognitive behavior of these animals. Research at piglet age is apparently particularly informative. As young pigs, they are extremely curious. Each in its own way. Of course, they also bring their individual imprinting with them. The behavior and intelligence of 16 pigs was scientifically monitored by an institute we are friends with - from an early age. The team had already asked whether the animals could move in with us at the end of the trial. So now 16 pigs have become Aiderbichlers in one fell swoop. A challenge for our employees too. The "pig gang" looks confusingly similar and yet each one has its own name.
