In the 19th century, the Tux-Zillertaler was the most widespread cow breed in the Tyrolean lowlands and was both famous and notorious for its combativeness. In the 1970s, there were only 30 of them left in the world and these wonderful animals were now an endangered breed of cattle. Edith is one of them, but fortunately saw the light of day at Gut Aiderbichl. We promised her that she could stay and that nothing would ever happen to her - and because she knows that, she rewards us every day with her zest for life!
