We have often reported on the factory farming of pigs. Time and again, we receive requests for help to save the very pigs that are born every day in factory farming, kept in degrading conditions and slaughtered at just six months old. Franzi recognized an opportunity during his transport to death and was able to jump off the trailer. He risked life and limb for a small chance of freedom. Animal friends had caught him and were initially able to bring him to the animal shelter. The people in charge of the shelter asked us for help and to take him in at Gut Aiderbichl. We wanted to reward this courage and agreed to his arrival. But we didn't want him to grow up alone, so we searched for and found his Sissi.
