A horse owner turned to us in despair. She was suffering from rheumatism, which had turned her into an early pensioner, and was now faced with the problem of paying the boarding fees for her faithful mare Ginger Ale, whom she had cared for and looked after since she was a child. She did everything she could to hold out as long as possible for her friend, but it was no longer possible. She asked us to take in her Ginger Ale because she had promised to always be there for her. We agreed to take her in and will carry on the promise that her owner once made to her.
