Gottfried-Vienna was able to grow up carefree because she was born at Gut Aiderbichl. Her mother Bella was bought free by a circus that had run into financial difficulties. Circuses of the conventional kind have not had a future for some time. Dubious attractions in which animals have to perform strange and often degrading tricks on command are becoming less and less popular with people. Why are we helping these animals? We want to draw attention to the fact that the rides with the animals from city to city, including the evening presentation, are a far cry from species-appropriate husbandry.
