When we found her mother Ludmilla tied up in a stable in Bavaria, we were heartbroken. She had deformities on her front legs and was standing in the same spot day in and day out, without any exercise or fresh air. Christian Kögl, who was originally called to the barn because of another case, found the sad Ludmilla and asked Gut Aiderbichl to take her in. The efforts of our cattle rescuer Christian moved Michael Aufhauser so much that he agreed to take Ludmilla in. Hexi was finally born in October. Fortunately, she never had to experience what dairy farming feels like.
