In July 2018, the world came crashing down for an animal lover from Lower Austria. She had fulfilled a lifelong dream with her partner and son - a life in agriculture. The three of them were aware of the responsibility they had taken on and that this way of life involved sacrifices. They found partners and started the project full of enthusiasm. When, after a while, there were massive disagreements, they had to leave the farm. They were able to take two goats, two donkeys and a dwarf zebu with them to their new refuge. And as if that wasn't enough, the next blow came for the young mother. The relationship broke up. Her partner had left her with a huge mountain of debt and had disappeared. Desperate and devastated, she asked us for help, as slaughtering her animals was out of the question for her. Thanks to the support of our sponsors, we were able to agree to take in the animals, and so the donkeys Tobi and Hippi, the goats Schwänli and Bärli and the dwarf zebu Zebuli became Aiderbichlers.
