When the Rottweiler Isidor came under our protection, he was only 8 months old. But what he did at this tender age will be remembered for a long time to come. Isidor escaped from his owner, who had trained him wrongly, and met two young boys whom he attacked. When they defended themselves against Isidor with sticks, he let go of them, but then attacked other children, seriously injuring one of them. It is understandable that the children's parents and the community cried out for retribution and demanded that he be put down. The danger was simply too great. With the promise that Isidor would never be reintegrated into society and that he would always stay at Gut Aiderbichl Gänserndorf, his life was finally saved. He is still a child who wants to test his limits. But he is far from an aggressive, bloodthirsty monster. We are doing everything we can to give Isidor a good life.
