During her stay in Romania, Anita Hartner (Gut Aiderbichl Osnabrück estate manager) also visited the dog shelter run by an animal welfare activist and saw Kiwi there. Kiwi was the only Galgo and was also being bullied and bitten by the other dogs. Anita agreed with the animal rights activist that Kiwi would become a Gut Aiderbichler dog.
