Until recently, Kodi lived as a street dog in a village near our shelter. The young dog lived there together with three other dogs in a small pack. One day, dog catchers came to the village and caught all the dogs they could on the street. Kodi and her three companions were also caught on this fateful day. The four dogs were taken to an animal shelter, which looks after the animals but euthanizes them after a period of time (sometimes 14 days - sometimes a few weeks) if they are not picked up. When we heard this, we contacted the shelter and bought the dogs free. The four dogs thank us every day with their loving nature!
