In our fast-moving times, where efficiency and utility are paramount, many breeds have lost their importance. Many of them have been replaced by high-performance breeds and have almost disappeared from the scene. This was also the case with the Zackel sheep, which could only be saved by the efforts of individualists. However, when this herd became too large, Gery Keszler asked for help and to take it in. This is how Lidwina became an Aiderbichler.
