Calf Little Ernst was born at Gut Aiderbichl Deggendorf. His mother Rigo Jancsi had to be evacuated from a neighboring village in Deggendorf a few weeks earlier, as the dikes threatened to break during the flood of the century in Deggendorf in 2013. Together with other cows and the farmer's wife Edeltraud, she was taken to Gut Aiderbichl. On the day of the evacuation, Edeltraud approached us with a request: "May my cows and I stay with you? It was hard to refuse such a request and so Little Ernst was born in our care and allowed to stay forever.
