Time and again we hear of animals being sent to the slaughterhouse even though they are pregnant. We can only imagine the scenes that unfold at the slaughterhouse. Aiderbichler Maria learned of just such a fate. Nobody was interested in the two pony mares Lucy and Cindy - except the butcher. And this despite the fact that both mares were expecting foals. Without further ado, Maria bought the two pony mares and kept them with her for the time being. After a few months, Cindy gave birth to her foal Sternchen, while Lucy lost her foal. In March 2012, the pony trio was then allowed to move in at Gut Aiderbichl Henndorf.
