Moritz led a dreary life. He was kept alone for years, without conspecifics, surrounded by cows and calves. Although the pony gelding was occasionally allowed into a fenced-in area on the farm, there is more to an animal-friendly and species-appropriate life: conspecifics, daily grazing, care and attention. When animal lovers became aware of Moritz's fate, they got in touch with us. Dismayed by this fate, we agreed to take Moritz in. He moved into Gut Aiderbichl Deggendorf, where he can now enjoy life among his fellow animals.
