A man from Lower Austria wanted to fulfill his dream of living with wolves after he had this experience in the forests of Canada. So he got himself Samoyeds, which are very close to wolves, and let them run wild. These two dogs eventually became around 50. But the fencing left a lot to be desired. The local residents were afraid because nobody knew what these dogs could do in a pack if they ever got the chance to escape. The authorities took action, cleared the area and initially anaesthetized the animals. Then they contacted Michael Aufhauser and gave him an hour to decide whether we could take over the dogs and create a suitable place for them. On behalf of the Aiderbichler, he agreed and thanks to the commitment of the Gut Aiderbichl Kilb team, a temporary solution was found to save the dogs' lives. They were later moved to Gut Aiderbichl Gänserndorf. f.
