In order for people to find cheap pork on the shelves, the animals have to live in the worst possible conditions. For example, the pigs are fed to slaughter maturity within 6 months, which is only possible through one-sided breeding, little exercise and intensive feeding. The animals live crammed together in very confined spaces. A pig weighing 110 kg has a living space of just 1 m². The animals suffer immeasurably and often have painful musculoskeletal disorders. We were able to save Roberta from this cruel system. Through her presence and good nature, we have the opportunity to bring people closer to the "pig" again.
