Rubin's owners turned their backs on him. Apparently he was not good enough and did not meet their expectations. So he found himself at a horse dealer - still splendidly plaited and decorated. It was obvious that he would not be coming home from a tournament. He had already been registered for transport to slaughter. We heard about it through a phone call and got moving - Rubin shouldn't die, he didn't deserve it. Unfortunately, Rubin's fate is not an isolated case. Many people still live according to the principle: what's useless has to go!
