The Arabian mare Sinue was sold at the age of three to an animal lover, but with no experience of horses. During the first farrier treatment, the mare broke loose and ran away. Out of fear, the mare was only kept in a small paddock after this incident. Sinue was eventually sold, but things got worse. She was kept as a broodmare in a small box with no room to roam. The first two foals died shortly after birth. Cheyenne miraculously survived. But then mother and daughter were threatened with slaughter. We were able to prevent this and put Sinue under our lifelong protection.
