Sternchen's care was probably too strenuous for her owners, as she suffers from sweet itch. This is a type of allergy that manifests itself with itchy skin. Especially in summer, thorough skin care is necessary. They wanted to avoid this and left Sternchen to be slaughtered despite her pregnancy. We found out about her fate through a tip and took her in at Gut Aiderbichl. A few months later she gave birth to a healthy foal: our big little Tirxi.
