When telling the story of our six goat kids, it is important to mention that abandoning animals is by no means a trivial offense - it is a criminal offense. The owner of the six goats didn't seem to be completely indifferent to his charges, because he put them in a paddock. The owner of the goats had placed a Gut Aiderbichl magazine there with the handwritten message: "Please leave the goats here." The owner of the paddock contacted us desperately and asked for help. The Gut Aiderbichl Deggendorf team set off straight away and collected the goats. As there are strict legal requirements for cloven-hoofed animals, the six had to go into quarantine first. Tonga, Morea, Samoa, Tahiti, Martin and Vincent are now in good health and have survived the procedure well. Of course, they are now allowed to stay until the end of their natural lives.
