When telling the story of our six goat kids, it is important to mention that abandoning animals is by no means a trivial offense - it is a criminal offense. The owner of the six goats seemed to care about his charges because he put them in a paddock. The owner of the goats had placed a Gut Aiderbichl magazine there with the handwritten message: "Please leave the goats here." The owner of the paddock contacted us desperately and asked for help. The Gut Aiderbichl Deggendorf team set off straight away to collect the animals. As there are strict legal requirements for cloven-hoofed animals, the six goats first had to go into quarantine. Tonga, Morea, Samoa, Tahiti, Martin and Vincent are now doing well. Of course, they are now allowed to stay until the end of their natural lives.
