In our fast-moving times, where efficiency and utility are paramount, many breeds have lost their importance. Many of them have been replaced by high-performance breeds and have almost disappeared from the scene. This was also the case with the Zackel sheep, which could only be saved by the efforts of individualists. Debora's owner, Gery Keszler, is aware of this threat and wanted to do his bit to preserve the breed. He built up a wonderful herd on his property. But when this became too large, Gery Keszler asked for help and to take them in. Zenzi became an Aiderbichler and gave birth to little Helen on April 27, 2015.
