Like many farmers in those days, Helga's farmer gave up. He could take no more, because the burden was simply too great and the reward for his efforts was simply too small to survive. Helga's calf Zeus had already been sold to the neighboring farmer and Helga's day of collection was drawing ever closer. Helga's world collapsed when her son was taken out of the stable and into his new home. For days, she called for her son and little Zeus kept breaking free to run to his mother. Animal lovers and the farmers wanted to help the two of them and looked for a place - they found it at Gut Aiderbichl.
