When we heard about Benny's story, it broke our hearts. His owner had died suddenly at Easter, leaving behind her well-behaved gelding Benny. The family, who were unable to look after Benny themselves, tried to find a good home for him. However, this proved difficult because Benny is ill. He suffers from EMS and needs very special care and attention. His owner was a very special person, with a deep love and attachment to animals, which were always the center of her life... was how the deceased animal lover was described. She herself was also seriously ill and confined to a wheelchair. So their friendship had a very special level. Now she had passed away and Benny was left alone. The family knew that the animal lover was a big Aiderbichl fan and so they finally turned to us. Touched by the deep friendship between humans and animals, we agreed to take in Benny.
