It is not unusual for us to be contacted by farmers asking to take in a cow. They also build up a bond with their animals and begin to love them. Elli's farmer described her cow with loving words. However, she also explained that unfortunately Elli could no longer stay on the farm after her 3rd calf. Due to a healed hernia, which is her weak point, they no longer wanted to allow her to become pregnant again. Unfortunately, she could not keep Elli and after a lot of ideas, considerations and research, the farmer asked us to take her in and entrusted us with her Elli.
