Llama mare Gena came to Gut Aiderbichl already pregnant. Her owner kept her and her fellow llamas as a sideline in order to offer guided walking tours with the llamas and to sell their wool. When this proved unsuccessful and the animals became a financial burden, the owner looked for a new home. But no one seemed to be seriously interested in these wonderful animals. Gena became an Aiderbichler and eventually gave birth to her daughter Maylea under the protection of the Gut Aiderbichl family.
