After the dog and together with the sheep, the goat was probably one of the first domestic animals to be used for economic purposes. The goat is also known as the "poor man's cow" because it not only produces an enormous amount of milk in relation to its body size and girth, but also requires much less food and space than cattle, for example. Goats also have their place in mythology: in the myth of the gods, Zeus was reared by the goat Almatheia. We at Gut Aiderbichl are also fascinated by goats. Their zest for life and their witty nature regularly make us laugh. But we are also constantly impressed by their intelligence. Jacki and Lucky don't have to prove anything to us. They convinced us of their charm as soon as they were born at Gut Aiderbichl and are allowed to stay until the end of their natural lives.
