In normal dairy farming, Margarete would probably not have stayed alive for long - because Margarete is small in stature, will probably never become pregnant and little Margarete would probably not have been suitable for fattening either. But her farmers took pity on her and wanted to help the little calf and give her a good life. They turned to us and asked for help. We were delighted to be able to say that we still had a place for Margarete.
