An animal lover decided to volunteer on a farm in beautiful South Tyrol. Although the farmer kept the cattle in tethers, he seemed to have his heart in the right place. There she got to know Heike, a well-behaved cow, and Marie, a beautiful calf. When the woman learned that Heike would soon have to be slaughtered because she was no longer economically viable, she wanted to do everything she could for Heike. When the animal lover was accepted for Heike at Gut Aiderbichl, she seized the opportunity and also asked for Marie to be taken in.
