For many years, the handsome gelding had taken part in festive and carnival parades all over Germany together with his fellow gelding Adi. Pulling heavy carriages or floats was no problem for the powerful Percheron. But then the day came when Markus was no longer able to do his job and so the well-behaved gelding was retired. If Michael Aufhauser had not agreed to take him in years earlier, his retirement would have meant his transportation to one of the notorious slaughterhouses in southern or eastern Europe. With us, he can enjoy his well-deserved retirement.
