We found little Sissi on a fattening farm near Gut Aiderbichl Iffeldorf. Together with many other pigs, she was kept in a very confined space and on slatted floors. The little pig did not know straw and hay. When she arrived at Gut Aiderbichl Iffeldorf, we introduced her to her new friend Franzi, who we had recently taken in. He had risked life and limb by jumping off a transporter that was supposed to take him to a slaughterhouse. We didn't know whether the two would get along and kept our fingers crossed that it would work out. And we were lucky: Sissi and Franzi hit it off straight away. Together they can now grow up and grow old at Gut Aiderbichl.
