The fact that animals are completely at the mercy of us humans becomes particularly clear to us in cases where the authorities have to confiscate animals. In most cases, this involves a large number of souls who are neglected, beaten and abandoned. As in the case of Summer and Marissa - they and their ten companions were confiscated by local authorities and temporarily housed at the SPCA. But they couldn't stay there because they weren't equipped to keep goats. Seeking help, they turned to Gut Aiderbichl and asked for help. The whole dozen became Aiderbichlers and were promised that they would be allowed to stay until the end of their natural lives - this also applies to Summer and Marissa.
